GUTS Dance presents Tiny Infinite Deaths by Amber McCartney, a special, intimate, one-night only performance at the GUTS Studio at the Araluen Arts Centre, as part of the Desert Festival 2025 Fringe Edition.

The maggot will be your guide through the in-between. Don't take anything with you, remove your jewellery, watch and unzip.

ABOUT AMBER

Amber McCartney is a Naarm/Melbourne-based dancer and choreographer. Her practice incorporates prosthetics, mask-making, film and costume to create new augmented bodies. Amber has worked extensively with Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Inc. and is a creative associate of Tasdance. Amber’s body of work includes pieces such as ‘leech’, commissioned by Sydney Dance Company for New Breed, ‘Tiny Infinite Deaths’, commissioned by Lucy Guerin Inc, performed at Rising 2023, Outbound Festival and as a part of Australasian Dance Collective’s ‘Three’ and winner of a John Truscott Artists Award. She also created and performed ‘Baby Girl’ at MONA FOMA, commissioned by Tasdance, ‘Untitled (Drip)’ for Mpavillion and screen works ‘Tiny Passenger’, The Australian Ballet and ‘Sofftrap’, Chunky Move.
