Ivan is a Spanish photographer currently based on Arrernte Country capturing primarily landscape, portrait, and movement photography in both digital and analog forms. As an emerging artist, Ivan uses photography to see the world through its details, with a focus on playing with light, movement, and sensation.

 Since 2017 he has been capturing artistic projects, in particular dance projects, with artists, festivals and companies including Figueres es Mou festival (Spain), Supercell Festival of Contemporary Dance (Brisbane), GUTS Dance, Ashleigh Musk, Bush Foods Festival, DesertMob and Desert Festival (Alice Springs). 

With interests in science, anthropology and geopolitics, Ivan is looking to create images which explore control, manipulation, and consequence. To demonstrate what is real/false in our existence, using the illusion of film and photography to amplify intimate moments which distort our reality. Waiting for that spontaneous moment never to be repeated, capturing the unpredictability of bodies, people, and landscapes.
