FRANCES ROBINSON
Frances is a producer and creative project caretaker with 15 years’ experience across major cultural institutions. Her work has spanned large-scale international exhibitions at Biennale of Sydney and Tate, experimental practice at Next Wave and cross-sector leadership development at Creative Australia. As Lead Program Producer at Next Wave, she managed national programs Kickstart and the Artistic Directorate, supporting multidisciplinary exchange through ALL School.
While at Creative Australia, she produced the Leadership Programs across nine Asia-Pacific countries, establishing a 300+ alumni network and cross-industry partnerships. She has worked within major international exhibition contexts and was a cultural ambassador for the presentation of Sarah Lucas’ I Scream Daddio at the British Pavilion for the 56th Biennale di Venezia: All The World’s Futures. Now working freelance, Frances is known for producing complex, site-responsive and multidisciplinary projects with a focus on care-led, relational and accessible practice. She is currently developing Many Ways, an experimental research project exploring alternative models that are flexible, inclusive and responsive to our changing sector. Frances is an Associate to Access Consultant, Morwenna Collett, and is Deputy Chair of Encounter.
