Kelly Beneforti is the Dance Animateur at Tracks Dance Company, bringing with her a diverse history with the company since 2004, as well as experiences from interstate and overseas. She works closely with the Artistic Co-Directors of Tracks, Tim Newth and David McMicken, to create large-scale, outdoor performances that are inspired by and reflect the community in which the work is placed. Kelly also facilitates a choreographic development program for local movement artists and maintains a strong relationship with the remote community of Lajamanu through the Milpirri project. Outside of her work at Tracks, Kelly continues to perform and collaborate as an independent artist, most recently with Alice Springs based GUTS Dance for The Perception Experiment, which toured to Melbourne and Mexico in 2019, and for the current work in development Value for Money. Kelly completed a Bachelor of Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts (Melbourne, 2011), and has been an ArtStart recipient, Early Career Resident, and Structured Mentorships recipient through the Australia Council for the Arts.
